Job Description

As a preschool teacher with us, you play an important role in leading, developing, and conducting education based on research and proven experience, ensuring that the goals and intentions of the curriculum permeate the education. We are looking for you who are a clear and secure leader, with the ability to create engagement, structure, and direction in the pedagogical work.

Our priority goals are language and communication, including through read-aloud sessions, health and movement, influence and participation, as well as the development of the pedagogical environment.

You create a holistic mix of care, development, and learning where each child's individual development and learning are promoted. Together with the work team, you are responsible for shaping playful, exploratory, and inspiring environments and contexts that spark children's curiosity and desire to learn.

We see play as a central part of children's learning and development. Through playful teaching, children get the opportunity to explore, communicate, collaborate, and develop together with other children and educators. By being present, attentive, and active in children's play, you create the basis for further developing education based on children's interests, needs, and experiences.

Together with the work team, you are responsible for systematic quality work by planning, documenting, following up, evaluating, and reflecting on the teaching, both individually and in groups, with the support of our learning platform, Unikum.

The positions are at 85–100% employment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are engaged, curious, and have a genuine interest in children's development and learning. You are a licensed preschool teacher, preferably with previous experience in the profession, and are secure in your role as a pedagogical leader. You have the ability to create structure, drive the work forward, and inspire both children and colleagues in daily work.

You find it easy to collaborate and contribute with both creative ideas and an attentive approach in the work team. With a positive attitude, you see opportunities and solutions, and you have a desire to continue developing, learn new things, and contribute to the preschool's joint development.

We value that you have a professional, respectful, and warm attitude towards children, guardians, and colleagues. You see the human meeting as an important part of the assignment and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and developmental environment for everyone.
