Jämtlands Gymnasieförbund is responsible for upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, and parts of adult education in our member municipalities. The federation's eight schools are located in nature- and mountain-adjacent environments spread across six municipalities – Berg, Bräcke, Krokom, Ragunda, Åre, and Östersund.

Jämtlands Gymnasium Åre is located in Järpen, the main town of Åre Municipality. Our school has students from all over Sweden and the rest of the world, creating a wonderful mix of people and cultures. Description

We are looking for an engaged and experienced teaching assistant for a student on the Vehicle Program, specializing in car technology. The position is a fixed-term employment at 75% during the academic year 2026/2027, and the education is located in Järpen.

Your future responsibilities

You will support a student with a disability in school situations, both during lessons and at recess. You will be part of the team on the Vehicle Program and participate in class instruction in both core subjects and program-specific subjects together with the student.

Who are you?

You who apply have experience and education for working with youth with disabilities. You have a good understanding of how students learn and have the ability to collaborate with our students, parents, colleagues, and school leadership.
