About the role

Do you want to help train the machine operators of the future? The position involves teaching construction and construction machinery. The role includes teaching both upper secondary and adult students. You will be part of a team with various competencies within the contracting industry, all contributing to educating the next generation in the field.

About you

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in machinery. You have extensive and current experience from the construction and civil engineering industry. Knowledge of construction machinery, road construction, equipment, and working environment is desirable. Education in pedagogy and professional certificates for excavators and wheel loaders are meritorious.

In working with students, it is important that you are a good role model, calm, structured, as well as receptive and orderly.

Community is important to us as the school serves as both an educational institution and a home for the students during the week. About Ingelstadgymnasiet

Over 290 students attend the school, of whom approximately 240 live in the school's boarding house. The education we offer includes the Nature Management Programme with specializations in agriculture, animal care, and horse management, as well as the Construction and Civil Engineering Programme with a focus on land and construction. We also offer a science profile. The school has extensive practical operations including forests, arable/pasture land, animal stables, an animal park, a dog facility, and a veterinary clinic.

The school is run by Hushållningssällskapet Kalmar Kronoberg Blekinge, which works with knowledge to develop the green industry.
