Preschool Lillsjön is located in the Odensala district of Östersund and is a preschool with 108 children in mixed-age groups. Our preschool is an inspiring workplace where our keywords Fun, Safe, and Educational are the focus of the children's learning and development. Here there is a large yard that invites exploration, play, and movement, and we have forest and lake right nearby. In winter, there is an opportunity for both skiing and ice skating in the local area. Our priority areas are language-developing attitudes and working methods, health and movement, and leadership at all levels.

The position is a temporary assignment starting 1/9-26 (or by agreement) until 30/6-27.

Your new job

We are now looking for you who are a qualified preschool teacher for a temporary position at Preschool Lillsjön.

You are part of a team where you together plan and are responsible for the children's education and development, anchored in the curriculum, which is then followed up and evaluated. We assume that all children can and want to, and that they get to be in a context where they have the opportunity to use and develop their competence. The children's learning is made visible in the form of digital pedagogical documentation, with iPad as a working tool. You create curiosity and the desire to learn during planned activities but also during spontaneous moments. Common tasks

• Plan and carry out activities based on the curriculum.
• Develop pedagogical content that inspires development and learning, while stimulating and challenging the children's interest, curiosity, and attention.
• Offer each child secure care and promote the development and learning of all children.
• Create learning opportunities based on the children's needs and interests, so that all children can develop based on their abilities and conditions.
• As a preschool teacher, you are responsible together with your colleagues for planning, teaching, documenting, and evaluating the content of the activity.

Your qualifications

• Educated and licensed preschool teacher.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing.
• You have good knowledge of the school's steering documents and can translate these into daily work.
• It is an advantage if you have previous experience within preschool.

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher and well acquainted with the national steering documents. You contribute to a good work environment and are a positive and secure leader who creates good relationships and collaborates well with the contacts that occur in your professional role. You will be part of a team where you together are responsible for and plan the children's education and development.

You have a good understanding of people's differences and relate to them in a listening and flexible way in teaching and the daily life of the preschool. You are secure in your assignment and can lead and teach towards set goals. We assume that all children can and want to, and that they get to be in a context where they have the opportunity to use and develop their competence.
