At Sanda Assistans, we are currently seeking assistants for an active 23-year-old young man living in Borås.
The Position
The position involves 24/7 assistance with a waiting time of 6.5 hours. The customer has double assistance during daytime hours.
About the Customer
The customer has a developmental disability, autism, and epilepsy. He does not speak verbally but communicates partly through body language.
About the Role
As his personal assistant, you will be his extended arm and help him in his daily life. This includes assistance with personal care, household chores, walks, activities, etc.
He is an active person who loves being outdoors, walking, swimming at the indoor pool, and in lakes.
Who You Are
You should have good physical fitness as heavy lifting may occur. Since the customer goes out for walks frequently, physical activity is essential.
We are looking for someone who:
- Works with low-affective interaction (calm and steady demeanor).
- Is flexible and can adapt your work to the customer's needs.
- Can take initiative.
- Is available for evening and night shifts with sleeping on-call duty.
