The Kälarne school area covers the entire eastern part of our municipality, Bräcke. The school is located in the middle of the community and is an F–9 school that is growing and currently has just over 100 students. Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a special needs teacher (specialpedagog) on a 100% basis.

You need to have a supportive and coaching approach to the teachers' work with children in need of support. In this work, there may sometimes be a need to act as a role model. Guidance in working with extra adaptations and special support are also important components. As a special needs teacher, you also provide support to the principal in the work with pedagogical mapping, investigations, and collaboration with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (BUP), Habilitation Services (HAB), Social Services, and others. Collaboration with other professionals in the student health team is also a natural part of the work.

The work also includes collaboration with the school's and after-school center's educators and other staff. Together, we are responsible for creating a safe and stimulating environment where we give the children the support and stimulation they need for their learning and continued development.

The position may include teaching in the integrated adapted comprehensive school.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with qualifications as a special needs teacher and who find it natural to work according to our guiding principles: The future does not come to us, WE create it. You should have the ability to inspire and lead students and see yourself as important for students to succeed. You have high expectations of students and can help and guide them so that they develop based on their prerequisites. You have good knowledge of the school's steering documents, work according to a well-established value base, and clearly show students which goals they should work towards. Building good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues is important to you.

You have a positive outlook on work and develop the operations with new methods and ways of working together with your work team. You are well-updated and have an interest in school research, as your and your colleagues' practice is based on scientific grounds and proven experience.

You are easy to collaborate with and have the ability to create positive relationships. You enjoy developing teaching and are good at identifying and highlighting good examples.

A Category B driver's license is desirable but not a requirement.
