Now is the opportunity to become part of us at Ängslyckan Preschool! We are looking for an engaged preschool teacher who wants to contribute to long-term development work where we together shape a creative, learning, and inspiring education. Here, children's thoughts, ideas, and curiosity are allowed to bloom through a project-oriented approach based on exploration and shared learning.

Ängslyckan is a newly built preschool with a nature-friendly location next to forest and fields. With ten departments and small children's groups, we create close relationships and the opportunity to adapt teaching to each child's needs. Our teams collaborate across departmental boundaries to create a safe, curious, and learning community.

We also have a close collaboration with Dädesjö Preschool; together we form a principal's area with a joint operational plan and joint development areas. During the school year 2025/2026, the focus is particularly on strengthening children's language and communication as well as their participation and influence.

In our project-oriented approach, we always start from the children's thoughts, ideas, and questions. By listening and exploring together, we create teaching that is meaningful, fun, safe, and educational. At our preschool, both children and guardians should feel involved and warmly welcome.

Responsibilities

• Apply the curriculum, laws, policies, and routines with a good understanding of the mission
• Lead, plan, organize, and develop teaching in accordance with the preschool's goals
• Create teaching that starts from the children's interests, questions, and ideas in a project-oriented approach
• Document, follow up, analyze, and develop education at both individual and group levels
• Use methods and approaches based on scientific ground and proven experience
• Ensure that every child's needs are met through a democratic and inclusive approach
• Contribute to an environment that promotes care, play, learning, and development
• Prepare and conduct development talks focused on the child's learning and well-being
• Actively contribute to collegial learning and to developing the quality of the operation over time

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for a secure and stable preschool teacher with a great commitment to their mission. You take responsibility for your work and have a good understanding of how children and adults learn and develop based on their different conditions.

With a strong belief in the competent child, you let the children's thoughts and ideas be the starting point in teaching. As a person, you are sensitive, collaborative, and communicate in a respectful and clear manner with colleagues, children, and guardians.

Building secure relationships and creating trusting learning environments is something you value highly. You have a solution-focused and flexible approach where the children's best interests always stand at the center. Experience and knowledge in aesthetic expression, pedagogical documentation, and developing learning environments are seen as an asset.

You master the Swedish language well in both speech and writing, which allows you to communicate with children, guardians, and colleagues as well as document according to the operation's requirements. Since the work involves digital documentation, good computer skills are also required.

Requirements:

• Licensed preschool teacher, or alternatively hold a qualification-giving degree that entitles to licensure.

Merits:

• Experience working as a preschool teacher or with similar tasks.
• Education in or curiosity about project/process-oriented approaches.
