Do you have a passion for working with children and young people and want to help develop their various skills? At BILDA, we constantly need to hire more qualified and non-qualified substitutes. We are now looking for you who want to work as a substitute teacher in primary school.

You will work at various schools throughout the Greater Stockholm area. The duration of assignments varies from one day to several days, and sometimes longer-term substitutes.

BILDA has a collective agreement, offers an introductory training, and provides ongoing support and dialogue with an assigned contact person at BILDA.

As a substitute teacher, you are responsible for a whole or part of a class. Lesson planning is usually available, but in cases where planning is missing, it is important to be solution-oriented to quickly create the most content-rich lesson possible for the students.

To work as a substitute, you need:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous work experience within the school sector
• Experience in pedagogical work
• Good proficiency in Swedish (spoken and written)
• Experience leading/speaking in front of groups

It is an advantage if you:

• Have relevant education and/or knowledge to teach in various subjects

You should thrive in an energetic environment and be engaged and responsible in your work. A central part of the substitute role is also your strong interest in working with children and teenagers.
