Description

We are now looking for you, a communicator who wants a job where you can use the entire communication toolbox. Here, you become part of something big, but never just one in the crowd. You will be one of two communicators working from different focuses, together holding the communication for the entire municipality together.

Responsibilities

Götene Municipality is looking for an engaged and versatile communicator who wants to work broadly across the entire communication field. As a communicator with us, you will have a varied and developmental role with a broad assignment, working with both internal and external communication. In our social channels, we often use a playful and light-hearted tone in the content we publish, which has been a success and led to viral spread. You thus have the opportunity to create content that stands out positively without taking the edge off the importance of the message.

Among other things, you will:

• plan, implement, and evaluate communication efforts and activities
• provide advice and support in communication work/issues to managers and employees
• create content for the website, intranet, and social media
• educate, support, and create templates, guides, and working methods
• carry out communication efforts within crisis communication and civil defense, internally and externally
• write press releases and work with media contacts

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• relevant academic education in communication, media, or other education that the employer deems equivalent, preferably with experience in crisis communication
• a few years of experience working as a communicator, preferably in the public sector
• very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
• ability to work both independently and together with others
• experience in planning and implementing communication efforts from start to follow-up
