Welcome to us!

Rödön and Trångsviken Schools are two schools with students in grades Pre-Kindergarten to 6. Both schools have associated preschool classes (fritidshem). As a special needs educator, you will work with approximately 150 students distributed across these two schools.

The Child and Education Administration has approximately 800 employees. The administration's operations extend across the entire municipality and include preschool, primary school grades 1-9, adapted primary school, preschool classes, catering and facility maintenance, mother tongue instruction, and library services.

A day as a special needs educator at Rödön and Trångsviken Schools

As a special needs educator with us, you are an important part of the schools' student health work. Together with the schools' student health teams and the principal, you work proactively, preventively, and remedially to improve results for students and schools. The daily work involves close collaboration with teachers and the principal.

Your competence

The position requires that you have education as a special needs educator, special needs teacher, or equivalent competence.

In addition to your formal qualifications, we place great emphasis on your ability to collaborate with students, teachers, and guardians. In short, a secure and stable person who can create trust. We also highly value your commitment and pedagogical competence.

We consider it an advantage if you have experience working with pedagogical development work at the subject level and school level.

Other information

The position is a permanent full-time appointment (100%) located at Rödön and Trångsviken Schools. Start date: August 10, 2026.
