International English School Växjö is now seeking a qualified teacher in Swedish and Social Sciences (SO).

About You

You are a licensed teacher in Swedish and Social Sciences (SO) for grades 4–9. We want you to understand the importance of creating and maintaining good relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians. You are motivated by having regular contact with guardians, leading mentorship activities in line with the mentorship program, and collaborating with colleagues in a supportive environment.

You should be confident in your professional leadership, where you can create a stable environment both inside and outside the classroom. You value and deliver personal, clear, and balanced leadership with both control and student engagement in focus. As a teacher, you are a clear and active norm-setter.

You also have:

• A genuine interest in children's learning and a passion for your profession.
• A conscious understanding of your role as a pedagogue and work structurally based on current governing documents.
• A positive attitude and contribute to the development of the business.
• Initiative and a professional approach.
• A flexible working style and the ability to collaborate in teams and within the unit.
• A warm and open personality as well as the ability to set boundaries.
• The ability to systematically document, analyze, evaluate, and follow up on students' knowledge development.
