Cederbergskolan is an F-9 school located close to nature in a mountainous area. The school is situated in the heart of Föllinge with direct access to a cross-country skiing track, a nice sports hall, and a newly renovated swimming pool. Our school currently has approximately 90 students from preschool class to grade nine. We are building a school for the future and are looking for engaged staff who want to be part of this journey. We are seeking secure teachers who wish to work collegially and develop the school together with students and colleagues from preschool class to grade nine.

The Child and Education Administration has approximately 800 employees. The administration's operations cover the entire municipality and include preschool, comprehensive school F-9, adapted comprehensive school, after-school centers, catering and facility maintenance, mother tongue instruction, and library services.

A day as an art teacher at Cederbergskolan

The role of comprehensive school teacher at Cederbergskolan includes planning, implementing, and following up on teaching, as well as assessing students' acquired knowledge.

You evaluate and develop the pedagogical work based on the school's steering documents, the student's needs and abilities, both individually and together with the work team.

You conduct well-proven, creative teaching and find strategies to reach every student and strengthen them in both knowledge development and personal growth.

In this role, you collaborate with other school staff to ensure a good learning and working environment for both students and staff, and you actively participate in the school's development work.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are qualified and licensed as a subject teacher in Art for grades 6–9.

You are clear in your leadership and skilled at communicating.

You have good didactic and pedagogical skills and a good understanding of and knowledge about the school's steering documents, which you can use effectively in your daily work.

You have an investigative approach to your practice and adapt teaching based on the needs of the student group.

You can lead and organize your work to create a peaceful study environment and a good learning environment for our students throughout their school day.

You have the ability to develop your teaching based on evidence-based research and have good experience with and knowledge of digital tools.

Of course, you have a professional approach and work towards good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.

Being qualified in additional subjects is an advantage.

Other information

The position is a permanent part-time employment at 25% starting in August 2026. The position can be combined with other subjects to create a full-time position up to 100%.
