About the Workplace

Rävemåla Friskola is an alternative school and leisure center in Tingsryd Municipality. The school offers education for grades F–6 as well as leisure activities. It is a small school with just over 80 students. The school's guiding principles are learning, community, and health.

The school operates as a limited company but is not profit-driven. The owner is a non-profit association in Älmeboda parish. We have short decision-making paths between the management and the board, creating a flexible and close-knit work environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a certified special teacher who has strong collaboration skills with the student health team to support students' knowledge development. You should have competence in children's literacy development and/or mathematics development. The role involves close collaboration with the school's special educator/special teacher.

You thrive in a smaller setting and value teamwork. We strive for small class sizes where every student is seen and supported. Our classes typically consist of 10–12 students. We have a fantastic schoolyard and excellent facilities.

Your Role and Competence

We have a well-developed student health team including the principal, special educator/teacher, counselor, social pedagogue, and school nurse. Psychologists and school doctors are available as needed. You will be the key competence we are seeking to strengthen our student health collaboration. Interventions from your side will be determined based on needs identified in our student health meetings, and you will collaborate closely with our class teachers to find the best way to reach the students' goals.

You should have a conscious understanding of your role as a pedagogue and be a clear leader who works structured based on current guidelines. A professional approach is essential. You have the ability to create a good work climate characterized by engagement, curiosity, and security. You see and meet students' different needs based on their prerequisites.

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a flexible working style, excellent collaboration skills, and a desire to contribute to the development of the operations.
