About the Role

Elevverket – the small school with high ambitions – is now looking for an engaged after-school center teacher (fritidslärare), preferably with a focus on music or visual arts.

Responsibilities

As an after-school center teacher at Elevverket, you have an important pedagogical role during both school hours and after-school time. Together with engaged and competent colleagues, you plan, implement, and develop an activity that is structured, creative, and meaningful.

You create activities that stimulate students' social development, creativity, and curiosity, based on the goals of the curriculum as well as the students' needs and interests.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is confident in their leadership role and has a positive, relationship-building approach. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and enjoy collaborating with others. Through your engagement, you create participation and safe encounters for students, guardians, and colleagues.

You also have a good ability to adapt your work pace and handle both calmer and more intensive periods in the activity.

Requirements

• Certified teacher for after-school centers (fritidshem)
• Previous experience working in an after-school center

Merits

• Qualification in music, visual arts, home economics, or crafts
• Experience using digital tools in teaching and activities
• Qualification in music and/or visual arts

In this recruitment, we place great emphasis on personal suitability. A police certificate of good conduct will be required prior to employment.
