Job Description

We are looking for an engaged study and career counselor who actively works with guidance both individually and in groups. You inform about educational paths and professions and support the student in the counseling process. You carry out outreach efforts and build upon established areas of cooperation. The role also involves collaboration with authorities, other municipalities, and education coordinators. The position includes administrative tasks.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who thrives in interactions with people and who, with enthusiasm, provides support on the path to studies and the future. The role involves many contact points both within and outside the organization, making good teamwork skills and a service-oriented attitude important qualities. The operations require great flexibility, and you need to be able to see opportunities in changes, while also having the ability to structure, prioritize, and drive your work. Adult education (Komvux) is a flexible form of schooling where you need to have good knowledge of the regulations and ordinances that govern the operations.

We are looking for you who have a study and career counselor degree with experience in adult education or other education that the employer deems equivalent. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We work focused on promoting well-being at work, so you need to be able to contribute to a good work environment for yourself, your students, and your colleagues.

As a permanent employee, you are mobilized in Tingsryd Municipality. Some of our positions are security-classified, which means that a security check will be conducted. In these cases, the security check must be approved before appointment.
