Noblaskolan Hemdal is an independent primary school from preschool class to year 9, with an integrated after-school center. The operations are divided into two buildings: Rotundahuset for years F–5 and Hemdalshuset for years 6–9.

Job Description

Do you want to inspire students to joy of movement, health, and community every day?

We are now looking for an engaged and relationship-building PE teacher who wants to help develop teaching in physical education and health at our school. You will teach students in years 1-6 and contribute to creating a safe, active, and inclusive learning environment where all students have the opportunity to develop based on their prerequisites.

The work includes:

• Planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in physical education and health for years 1-6
• Create varied and inspiring teaching that promotes joy of movement, health, and cooperation
• Actively work with security, participation, and an inclusive climate during lessons
• Participate in team meetings as well as the school's teacher meetings
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and student health services to support students' development and well-being

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• is a certified teacher with the qualification to teach physical education and health
• has a good ability to create structure, security, and study environment in teaching
• is relationship-building and has an easy time building trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues
• works in a structured manner and can plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on the curriculum
• has good collaboration skills and enjoys working both independently and together with colleagues
• is flexible, engaged, and has a clear focus on the student's development and well-being
• sees movement and health as important parts of students' learning and development
