It’s mornings in freshly groomed slopes, full speed at the resort during the day, and a team that makes the season together. We are looking for you who want to create experiences for our guests – and at the same time get the most out of your own winter.

For the winter season 2026/2027, we are looking for qualified ski instructors who want to work broadly within our popular and appreciated ski school. The season runs from mid-December to the end of April.

At the ski school in Tänndalen, we want to convey the joy of skiing and the desire to try and learn even more. The ski school is well adapted for beginners, children, and adults, and we offer both group and private lessons. You are part of a team of ski instructors where everyone helps each other to create truly wonderful ski memories for our guests.

As a ski instructor, you are one of those who spend the most time with our guests, which is why it is important that you are passionate about skiing and have a great interest in meeting and helping different types of people. Our largest customer group is children aged 4-10, which means that the ability to connect with and make children have fun and feel comfortable is central.

You need to have at least Step 1 from SLAO (Swedish Ski Instructors Association) or equivalent, as well as previous experience from a ski school. If you can teach both skiing and snowboarding (and cross-country), it is an advantage.

Just like all our employees, you need to be service-oriented and always strive to give our guests the best overall experience. As a person, you are positive, responsible, stress-resistant, and have an easy time collaborating, working independently, and in a group. Since most lessons are in Swedish, you need to be able to express yourself fluently in Swedish.

Selection is ongoing. The first step in the process is a telephone interview. If you proceed, you will be invited to our recruitment weekend in Tänndalen on September 4-6.

We work actively with drug prevention and have zero tolerance for drugs, both on and off duty. Prior to employment, we request a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record).

Tänndalen is a cozy mountain and ski resort in western Härjedalen. But Tänndalen is so much more than just a place. Here there is a special atmosphere, a feeling that is hard to put into words. We who work here share the love for the mountains, nature, and adventure, but equally important is the social aspect – doing fun things together and sharing experiences. Whether you come to us to work long-term or for one season, you will become part of a strong community where everyone knows everyone and everyone helps everyone.

Every winter, four to five meters of natural snow fall over the ski area, which stretches through the entire valley from Hamra in the west to Svansjön in the east. The alpine ski system in Tänndalen offers a total of 54 varied runs, both above and below the tree line. Always soft, rolling, and well-groomed. In Tänndalen, there is ski rental and a sports shop, three children's areas, two snow parks, and eight restaurants/cafés. Common to all restaurants is high quality and inspiration from the mountain's taste tradition.
