Arboga is a safe and growing municipality focused on learning, development, and community. Within the Child and Education Administration, we work to ensure that all students are given an equal education and a school day characterized by security, participation, and accessibility.

Ladubacksskolan is a school for grades F-5 (preschool class to grade 5) with an associated after-school center. Students have craft classes in grades 3-5. We have two well-equipped craft workshops, one for wood and metal and one for textiles. Ladubacksskolan is located in the northern part of Arboga and has a large schoolyard with extensive grassy areas and a motor skills track. The school's proximity to forests and pedestrian-friendly surroundings is often utilized by the after-school center and classes.

Job Responsibilities

The position involves teaching students in grades 3–5 at Ladubacksskolan and Götlunda skola. The role also includes supervision, pedagogical planning, and work with core values and safety in accordance with the goals and guidelines of the curriculum. As a teacher, you are expected to continuously develop teaching based on the students' needs and prerequisites, spark engagement by leveraging students' interests, and create teaching that challenges and stimulates learning. You document students' knowledge development and follow up on learning to strengthen their opportunities to achieve the goals.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach crafts with a focus on wood and metal. You are confident in your pedagogical leadership. As a person, you build trust, serve as a role model, and establish relationships with students and their guardians. Collaboration is second nature to you, both in planning and in sharing knowledge and experiences. You hold a category B driver's license.

Conditions

Full-time, permanent. Start date 2026-08-10 or as agreed.
