Pilträdsskolan is a private school with approximately 300 students, emphasizing knowledge, safety, and the unique value of each student. The school was established in 1994 and provides education for grades F-9 (preschool class to grade 9) as well as after-school activities. Adjacent to the school is Pilträdets Preschool for children aged 1-5. The school is managed by Stiftelsen Källan in Västerås and is located in Vallby.

We are now looking for inspiring teachers for the lower secondary school (grades 7-9) who, together with us, want to shape the future and contribute to a meaningful school experience for our students. We require a university degree (Lower Secondary Teacher 4-9, Teacher for Older Ages, or Lower Secondary School Teacher) and experience working in primary and lower secondary education. A teaching license is meritorious. We also expect you to be familiar with the Swedish National Curriculum, course plans, the Swedish Schools Inspectorate's guidelines, and the operations of the compulsory school system. You are responsible, independent, take initiative, and have good collaboration skills.

As a teacher with us, you will collaborate with colleagues and students to plan and evaluate teaching. You are skilled in and interested in continuously developing leadership and motivation strategies, as well as making additional adaptations in your teaching. We actively work with motivating and value-creating teaching methods. The role also includes mentorship and contact with guardians. We are a school where all students in grades F-9 have access to iPads, and it is important that you recognize and utilize the opportunities this entails. You have good computer skills. You also have a genuine interest in working with students' development and learning, see possibilities, are flexible, dare to try new working methods, and have good experience in collaboration.
