Your Responsibilities

Your main task will be to work with planning, teaching, guidance, and values-based work based on the curriculum (LGR22). However, being a teacher today involves much more. It is about constantly developing new working methods based on the students you meet, capturing their interests, and creating fun and challenging teaching. It also involves documenting student learning to enable them to reach their goals. In addition to pedagogy, you also work with student health initiatives to ensure that students are doing well and feel safe at school.

Your Qualifications

You are a certified teacher for the compulsory school system, grades 7-9. You are confident in your pedagogical leadership and actively use digital tools in the classroom. As a person, you build trust, serve as a role model, and establish relationships with students and their guardians. Collaboration is second nature to you, both in planning and in sharing knowledge and experiences.

Recruitment Process

We have a central and common recruitment process for teachers in the compulsory school system. This means that we interview and appoint our staff continuously based on the schools' needs. We update the advertisement continuously with open positions. You will naturally have the opportunity to specify your preferred schools when you submit your application. If you proceed after a potential interview, you will have the opportunity to visit selected schools based on current needs.

If you are not a trained teacher, your application may be forwarded to principals who have open fixed-term positions.

If you currently work as a teacher in our schools but are interested in changing units, you need to apply here. However, you will not need to go through all stages of the recruitment process.

Other Information

Before you can be employed, you must present a clean extract from the police criminal record.

In connection with the interview, you must prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or alternatively a certificate of residence together with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.
