Personal Assistant for an 8-Year-Old Girl with Muscular Dystrophy

I am an 8-year-old girl with a muscular disease who has recently been approved for personal assistance. To our newly formed team, we are now looking for assistants who are genuinely interested in working with children and who have a respectful and warm approach.

My care needs primarily involve physical tasks, which can sometimes be heavy, so we are looking for someone with good physical fitness. I also have significant phlegm issues, which means you must be vigilant and have the calmness to handle stressful situations that may arise in connection with this.

I can express what I want, but it is still required that you are attentive and can read my body language. We will learn most things together, as my needs, just like everyone else's, are individual. We would prefer if you are a trained nursing assistant or have worked in a similar role, but the most important factor is obviously personal chemistry.

It is important to me that my assistants are cheerful, have imagination, and take initiative, so that I have a fun and meaningful daily life with people I can rely on.

During the day, I go to school, and my assistants accompany me there. I would like my assistants to encourage play with my classmates and keep a low profile in between.

Working hours are scheduled both during the day and in the evening, Monday to Friday. I prefer female applicants, and having a driver's license is desirable. It is important to me that you speak and understand Swedish well so that communication between you and me can function effectively.
