ABOUT THE POSITION

At Kura Omsorg, we are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant for one of our clients in Lidköping. We are seeking candidates interested in both temporary positions (vikariat) and permanent employment. Both positions are approximately 65-75%.

Working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 07:00 - 15:00

• 15:00 - 21:00

Start date is by agreement, and we prefer that you can begin your introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is an active young woman in her 20s living in Lidköping. She has tuberous sclerosis, which involves severe epilepsy, autism, and intellectual disability. She manages much on her own but needs support with several tasks throughout the day. She can move around independently but requires a secure and present assistant who is there when needed. Your role will be to support her in daily life – both practically and socially, as her mental development level corresponds to that of a 1.5–2-year-old child. Furthermore, she enjoys baking, coffee breaks, visiting playgrounds, going to the swimming pool, and dining at restaurants. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is happy to join in on activities and contribute to creating a meaningful and fun daily life.

REQUIREMENTS

• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• Swimming skills and tolerance to chlorine

• Previous experience working with epilepsy

Employment level: Permanent position or temporary assignment at approx. 65-75% each

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

Due to the fact that the position may involve working alone, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) may not be performed by minors, you must be 18 years of age to work as a personal assistant.

If you are going to work with children and young people under 18 years of age, you are required to present an extract from the criminal register. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will cover both the criminal register extract and the suspicion register extract. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so ordering should be done in good time.
