Djur- och Kulgården in Torvalla is a non-profit association offering a safe, inclusive, and meaningful meeting place for children, youth, adults, and people with disabilities. We combine youth center activities with teaching the basics of animal husbandry and horseback riding – and now we are looking for a new farm manager to be the heart of our operations.

The association's activities rely heavily on the employed farm manager. This person manages the daily operations of the farm on weekdays, welcomes children, youth, and people with disabilities, leads pony groups, and supervises all individuals visiting the farm for internships, work training, etc.

As the farm manager, you are responsible for the daily operations of the farm and are the person who holds the organization together. The role is both practical and social – you work closely with animals, visitors, interns, and volunteers.

Your main responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily care of the farm and our animals.
• Lead pony groups and horseback riding for children and people with disabilities.
• Welcome and supervise interns, seasonal workers, and individuals in work training.
• Collaborate with the board, volunteers, and partners.
• Plan and carry out activities on the farm.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all visitors.
