About the position

As a personal assistant, you will work closely with the client and provide support in both basic needs and daily activities. The job requires that you are confident, attentive, and can adapt to the client's needs.

Job responsibilities

•    Personal care 

•    Transfers with a ceiling lift and handling of Permobil

•    Position changes in bed

•    Changing incontinence pads

•    Support during medical visits

•    Cooking, dishwashing, and assistance

•    Grocery shopping

•    Cleaning and laundry

•    Communication support during important information exchanges

About the client

The client has an active life and enjoys getting out and moving. Interests include cooking, walking, church congregation, shopping, and spending time at the beach.

We are looking for someone who:

•    Is smoke-free

•    Enjoys being outdoors and has an active work style

•    Is proactive and prefers to be in motion rather than sedentary

•    Is attentive, flexible, and responsible

Qualifications

•    Experience in similar work is an advantage but not a requirement

•    Introduction and training will be provided on-site
