ABOUT THE POSITION

Kura Omsorg is now seeking a dedicated personal assistant for one of our clients residing in Gothenburg. The position is approximately 55% and the work follows a fixed schedule during weekday evenings. Start date is negotiable, and we would like you to begin the introduction immediately.

Working hours:

• Mon-Fri 16:00 - 21:00

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a lovely 6-year-old girl who has allergies to nuts and eggs, as well as some difficulties chewing food. Your role as an assistant means that you thoughtfully help prepare and adapt meals according to her needs.

She also has limited verbal communication, which makes your presence, attentiveness, and ability to support communication particularly important.

You are also a part of her daily life and participate in various activities – both big and small. This can involve anything from a calm walk to accompanying her on outings, or simply being there in the moment. Your work is based on where the client is, and you are there as a support to help create a safe, positive, and meaningful everyday life together.

Our client prefers female assistants and is looking for someone who is secure, empathetic, and has the ability to meet our client at her level – both in thought and feeling. If you still have a childlike spirit and enjoy engaging in play and imagination, you will find great joy in this assignment!

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with people and has an easy time reading others' needs. You are responsible, caring, and have a calm and stable demeanor that creates security in everyday life. Personal suitability is of great importance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working with children or equivalent experience deemed relevant by the employer.

• Knowledge of allergies and how to manage them safely.

• Good communication skills.

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensation in accordance with collective agreements.

It is important that the extracts are ordered in good time, as the police's processing time may vary. Due to a legal change from March 1, 2026, the background check will be expanded to include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register.
