ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are now looking for personal assistants for our client in Skene. We are looking for both those who want to work approximately 80-100% during the day and night, as well as those who want to work as substitutes on an as-needed basis.

The client requires assistance around the clock, which means that you as a substitute need to be able to work day, evening, and night shifts, both weekdays and weekends. During the night, awake night shifts are applied.

Start date is according to agreement, and we would like you to be able to start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a man in his 40s who is wheelchair-bound and has a great interest in gaming, movies, and series. He also enjoys music, short outings, good food, and spending time with friends.

We are now looking for someone who wants to become an important part of his everyday life and function as his extended arms and legs. As a personal assistant, you help create the conditions for him to do what he enjoys and live his life in his own way.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with people and has the ability to see, understand, and analyze individuals' needs. You are attentive, social, and flexible, while also being proactive, solution-oriented, and engaged in your work. You have respect for personal integrity and an understanding that the role sometimes requires you to take a step back.

Previous experience as a personal assistant or equivalent is an advantage, but the most important thing is that you and the client enjoy each other's company. Therefore, great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Employment Rate: 1 position at approximately 80-100% and 1 substitute

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant.

If you want to work with children and young people under 18, you need to present an extract from the criminal record. It is important that the extracts are ordered in good time, as the Police's processing time may vary. Due to a change in the law from March 1, 2026, the background check will be expanded to include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register.
