About the Job

Service of process means that we ensure the receipt of process documents from one or more of the Enforcement Authority's operational processes. This is crucial for the recipient's ability to assert their rights.

Your tasks include locating customers to deliver and serve a document. You will be on the move for large parts of the day and will meet many different customers. Often, you will drive to the customer's home or workplace. The documents may include applications, enforcement decisions, or debt restructuring decisions, among others. The role also includes some administrative tasks at the office, such as phone contacts to prepare customer visits and follow-up work to finalize your cases.

You will be part of a section that collectively is responsible for results, planning, and work distribution. This is done in dialogue with the section manager who supports you and the workgroup in achieving the section's goals. To provide the best conditions for customer meetings, there will regularly be working hours in the evenings and on weekends.

Everyone working at the Enforcement Authority contributes to the fight against crime. Your tasks include identifying and preventing attempts at criminal activity and notifying other authorities of suspected crimes.

Your Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle and good driving experience
  • Good IT skills and experience working with various IT systems
  • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Current experience in answering questions and conveying information concisely and pedagogically in direct customer interactions.

It is desirable that you have relevant work experience in handling contacts with people in difficult life situations.

Good to Know

The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You will be employed as a Process Server. Working hours are distributed during the day, evenings, and weekends. The Enforcement Authority offers the possibility of remote work by agreement with the employer.

Working in the government means you adhere to the government values. There are also special requirements for judgment, security awareness, and compliance with applicable laws. We ask questions during the interview about any previous criminal activity and shortcomings in previous employment. For final candidates, these questions are also posed to references. We also collect information about debts registered with the Enforcement Authority, bankruptcy, and business prohibitions. The information obtained is weighed in the overall assessment of your suitability for the position.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a hiring decision is made. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
