Do you want to gain valuable insight into financial work and develop in a role where you can gradually learn more? We at Vindex are now looking for a junior finance assistant for our client.

In this role, you will be employed as a consultant through Vindex and work on a part-time assignment for our client, corresponding to approximately 25% of a full-time position – about one week per month starting at the beginning of each month. The assignment is planned to start in March. This is an excellent opportunity for you as a student, recent graduate, or at the beginning of your career in finance, who wants to build practical experience in a professional and supportive environment.

About the role

As a junior finance assistant, you will work with basic financial tasks primarily related to accounts receivable and accounts payable. You will be part of a smaller finance team where you will receive a good introduction and the opportunity to gradually develop your knowledge in finance. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in the finance function, and you will support the daily operations, mainly during month-end closings.

Initially, the work will primarily take place on-site at the office to ensure good training. Once you become more self-sufficient, there is an opportunity for some hybrid work.

Main responsibilities

• Register incoming supplier invoices
• Handle simpler customer invoicing
• Set up new customers and suppliers in the business system
• Manage and respond to incoming emails related to accounts
• Support the finance team with simpler administrative financial tasks
• Assist during monthly financial processes

Qualifications

• Ongoing or completed post-secondary education in finance, or equivalent work experience
• Previous experience in administrative work is an advantage
• Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable is an advantage
• Basic system proficiency
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
