About the Role

Do you want to be an important part of the energy transition? Vattenfall Services is Sweden's leading contracting company in the energy and power sector. We are developing Sweden's electricity infrastructure by conducting a large service operation with long contracts, extensive preparedness, and a significant project operation. We are now looking for an experienced and driven manager for our Finance and Controlling function, who will also become a very important person within Vattenfall Services' corporate management. As the head of the company's Finance and Controlling function, you are responsible for the entire company's financial management, monitoring, and control. The position is directly under the CEO and belongs to the business unit's management team. The business unit has a turnover of approximately 8,000 MSEK, consists of 2,500 employees, and includes the companies Vattenfall Services Nordic AB and Vattenfall Electrical Installations AB. You will have an exciting everyday life with the opportunity to influence central decisions, lead improvement initiatives, and develop working methods, good governance, and efficient processes. Your team consists of 25 employees. You and your employees work very closely with the operational business. The business unit also utilizes and collaborates with several financial functions within the group.

Responsibilities and Main Tasks

• Ensure the business unit's governance and monitoring through planning, results and project monitoring, and financial reporting for the companies as well as for the business unit.
• Owner of the budget, forecast, and business planning process, as well as the financial model including year-end routines.
• Drive goal formulation, planning, monitoring, forecasting, and reporting for the company's various parts.
• Analyze and drive efficiency and change initiatives in collaboration with the business segment managers.
• Ensure that the organization meets the owner's guidelines for financial management and business planning work.
• Have overall responsibility for ensuring that corporate governance and board processes are updated and function in a professional and well-structured manner. This includes keeping corporate matters together within compliance and accounting principles, internal and external audits, general corporate matters such as SLAs, delegations, approval rights, etc., compliance with regulations and financial models, system management, and projects including ongoing ERP system changes.
• Participate in board meetings and in several other forums within the Vattenfall Group.
• Be involved/partner in analysis and calculation (businesses, contracts, internal efficiency, investment) as well as coordination of risk management (ERM).
• Consolidate the unit's financial reporting together with your business controllers, who in turn support the business segments in their ongoing work with project monitoring, reporting, and financial issues.
• Lead and develop employees.

Requirements

You have the ability to see the big picture while taking responsibility for details. Your working style is characterized by being close to the business, supporting, setting goals, and following up. You find it easy to build trust, influence, and drive important issues forward, even in complex and demanding situations. To succeed, we believe that you are an experienced CFO for a larger company, preferably within the energy sector. You have a broad network, a very good ability to communicate, and enjoy having personnel responsibility. You are confident in yourself and your leadership. You know that the courage to change and collaboration are crucial to achieving high-set goals together. As a person, you are solution-focused, analytical, and results-driven so that our business and operations continuously move forward and develop.

We know that you will develop together with us. But you need to have from the very beginning:

• Education equivalent to a university degree, preferably from a business program.
• Solid experience in qualified work within Business Controlling and Project Controlling.
• Experience in participating in and driving change initiatives such as introducing and/or updating business systems.
• Minimum 10 years in a leadership position, with documented skill as a leader.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• It is an advantage if you have solid experience from contracting operations and/or the energy sector.
