Job Description

We are looking for an Accounting Professional to join a Record to Report (R2R) team within a larger corporation's Finance Business Support function. R2R is the central function for accounting expertise within the corporation, with a strong focus on quality and compliance. The team is responsible for ongoing bookkeeping, statutory reporting (IFRS and local GAAP), financial reports, and external audits. Processes are continuously developed and optimized.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for general ledger activities in accordance with legal requirements and internal standards, as well as comply with IFRS and statutory accounting regulations
• Act as a trusted accounting expert and collaborate closely with internal teams, auditors, and external service providers, including outsourcing partners
• Drive monthly and annual closings and ensure deadlines are met
• Prepare financial reports and annual accounts for legal entities and manage the entire reporting and audit process
• Ensure high quality, accuracy, and compliance in all accounting activities
• Participate in improvement initiatives together with process experts and contribute to cross-functional projects

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in ongoing accounting and statutory reporting, preferably within a complex organization or group
• Team player but also able to work independently in a structured and reliable manner, with good communication skills
• Solid understanding of the entire financial process, especially closing and reporting
• Experience working with SAP and MS Office products
• Full professional proficiency in Swedish and English
