About the job

This is the role for you who want to help develop a new control operation at the Swedish Tax Agency. You will review the right to wage guarantee and inform decision-makers and supervisory authorities of suspected inaccuracies to combat abuse of the welfare system. Together with your colleagues, you will contribute to the development of working methods and methodologies, and through your work, you will strengthen trust in the state's welfare system.

Your main tasks are to verify decisions regarding wage guarantees using information from operational systems and various types of documentation. You will analyze and assess materials that vary in scope and complexity, and make decisions in collaboration with decision-makers within the wage guarantee to counteract abuse.

You will provide insights on how the operation can be developed to facilitate processing and improve the quality of controls. The tasks also involve guiding the Swedish Tax Agency's clients in a niche area that is under development.

It is important to us that you have a balance between work and leisure. We offer, among other things, flexible working hours and the opportunity to work from home after training.

You will belong to Personal Tax Section 9 at the Personal Tax Unit 8 in the Personal Tax Department. The location is Sundbyberg. In the section, we have 17 colleagues.

You should also have:

• a university degree of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in economics or law.

It is desirable that you have work experience within the Swedish Tax Agency's control operations. Work experience in control operations at another government agency is also desirable. Experience in insolvency law or tax law is also preferred.

Good to know

The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
