We are now looking for an experienced planner for a long-term assignment within one of the most extensive public transport projects in the Stockholm region. You will be part of a planning team where you, together with other planners, support project and sub-project management in ensuring a robust, updated, and integrated schedule throughout the project's lifecycle.
This is an assignment for you who thrive in a complex environment where scheduling is a strategic management tool – not just a list of activities.
About the role
In the role of planner, you will work closely with project managers, sub-project managers, and project management. You will be responsible for developing, updating, and analyzing schedules as well as contributing to improved working methods and methodologies within planning.
Planning is done in close collaboration with other control disciplines such as time, cost, risk, and scope. The schedules are built according to CPM, managed with milestone methodology, and for design, EVM is also used. Linear planning and constructability analyses are also part of the work.
Responsibilities
Examples of tasks in the assignment:
- Further develop common working methods within scheduling (methodology, change management, follow-up)
- Support project managers and sub-project managers in establishing and maintaining schedules
- Link project schedules with an overarching program schedule
- Participate in planning and follow-up meetings and assist in time tracking and forecasting work
- Manage dependencies between sub-projects and analyze time consequences
- Prepare materials for status reports, presentations, and management reporting
- Work with WBS structure and WBS descriptions to enable tracking of work packages
- Support in requirement setting related to planning for procurement
- Participate in bid evaluations and suggest improvements within the planning area
Tools and systems
The planning team primarily works in:
- Primavera P6 Pro
- TILOS
- Primavera Risk Analysis
- Microsoft Office
Contractors plan in their own systems, which requires you to have a good understanding of commonly used planning tools and how these can be integrated into the client's planning structure.
Requirements (must-haves)
To be considered for the assignment, you need to have:
- University degree in a relevant field (at least 180 credits)
- Experience with Primavera P6 from at least one assignment
- At least 4 years of experience in scheduling in infrastructure or construction projects
- Experience from at least one larger project with a budget of at least 200 million SEK
- Documented experience in implementing working methods related to scheduling from at least one assignment
Meritorious
- Experience with TILOS and constructability analysis
- Experience with risk and uncertainty analysis (e.g., Monte Carlo simulation)
- Experience leading a group of more than four people
Assignment information
- Start: 2026-03-09
- End: 2027-03-08
- Scope: 100% (40h/week)
- Location: Stockholm
- Option: 1+1+1 years
- Note: The assignment is assessed to be 100% until the end of Q3 2026, after which the scope may decrease depending on project needs.
