We offer an interesting, responsible, and developing job in one of our society's most important operations. Our organization consists of employees with different competencies, each of whom is significant in maintaining legal security and high quality at all levels. The court has about 65 employees divided into two departments, a registry unit, and an administrative unit. The Administrative Court in Jönköping is one of four administrative courts. The court mainly deals with cases that have been appealed from an administrative court. The Administrative Court handles a very large number of case types. Approximately 4,000 cases are received by the court each year, primarily concerning disputes between individuals and authorities.
The Administrative Court in Jönköping is looking for a student employee for the registry unit. The role is suitable for you who want to combine studies with qualified administrative work and gain a broad insight into the court's operations.
As a student employee, you will gain work experience from a government agency, insight into the court's processing procedures, and the opportunity to apply your studies in practice.
You will work closely with registrars, case handlers, and lawyers, gaining a clear understanding of how cases are processed from incoming appeals to decisions and archiving.
Job Responsibilities
In the registry unit, you will work with tasks related to registration, processing, archiving, and service. For example, you will:
- Register and manage incoming documents
- Conduct correspondence
- Compile materials for hearings
- Dispatch judgments and decisions
- Search in systems and archives
The work is conducted under supervision, and you will be gradually introduced to more tasks as you become comfortable in the role.
Requirements Profile
Requirements
- You are studying full-time in law, public administration, social work, communication, or another social or behavioral science education deemed relevant by the employer
- At least 60 credits approved at the start
- Very good Swedish in speech and writing
- Good ability to work accurately and systematically
- Good computer skills and ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new systems

Meritorious
It may be advantageous if you have:
- Experience in administrative work, preferably in the public sector.
- Experience working in a court or other legal operations.

Employment form: One or more fixed-term positions according to the Agreement on conditions for fixed-term employment as a student employee. Possible opportunity for special fixed-term employment during breaks.
Scope: 25% on-site at the Administrative Court's premises in Jönköping.
Working hours: Scheduled in dialogue with the manager, adjusted to studies.
In accordance with the court's employment procedures, background checks will be conducted in the event of a potential employment.
