Your New Job
You will be responsible for ongoing bookkeeping in Raindance and ensuring that financial transactions are recorded correctly and in accordance with applicable principles and procedures. The work also involves following up and correcting errors, conducting regular reconciliations against the bank and the general ledger, and analyzing and addressing any discrepancies. You will participate in accruals and preparations for monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring that the documentation is complete and accurate.
The role also involves providing support to the organization's departments on issues related to bookkeeping and transaction flows, as well as collaborating with accountants and system administrators to develop and streamline workflows and procedures. Additionally, you will contribute to updating documentation and manuals related to bookkeeping.
About You
We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education in finance. Previous experience in bookkeeping, preferably in the Raindance system, is an advantage. You should have good computer skills and experience working in administrative systems. Experience with reconciliations and year-end closing work is also a plus.
As a person, you are meticulous and structured with a strong eye for detail. You enjoy analyzing and solving complex issues and can manage financial flows with confidence. You work independently and take responsibility for ensuring that your tasks are completed on time and with good quality.
The role also requires you to be communicative and service-oriented, with fluent Swedish in both spoken and written form, as all communication is conducted in Swedish. Working in a team and with our member municipalities requires good collaboration skills, flexibility, and a willingness to move forward together.
About Us
Ekonomiservice works both with daily operations in the financial system and has a part that focuses on system administration, support, and development of the system. The mission of Ekonomiservice also includes coordinating, developing, and streamlining the municipalities' fundamental financial processes.
With us, you will work in an organization where collaboration and improvement work are central. We drive and develop everything from accounts receivable and payable to bookkeeping, e-commerce, system administration, and budget support. We work in close dialogue with our member municipalities and other functions and are an important piece in standardizing and developing the municipalities' financial systems and processes.

Good to Know
The position is a fixed-term assignment full-time from April 1, 2026, until January 2027.
If you are called for an interview, you will need to prove your citizenship. You can do this by showing a valid passport or a personal certificate along with a valid ID. If you are a Swedish citizen, you can download a personal certificate from the tax agency under my pages. If you are a citizen of a country outside the EU/EES, you must also be able to present a valid residence and/or work permit to work in Sweden. Employment can only occur after the work permit has been verified, in accordance with the Aliens Ordinance.
