Unit Administrator at the Total Defense Ammunition and Mine Clearance Center

About us

The Total Defense Ammunition and Mine Clearance Center (Swedec) is part of the Swedish Armed Forces and serves as a national competence center for ammunition and mine clearance operations on land as well as military search services. At Swedec, we have the mine clearance and search company. We are responsible for the Army's explosive ordnance disposal platoons (EOD) and advanced search platoon (Asök), and we often work closely with other units both nationally and internationally. With us, you will be part of a highly specialized team that regularly participates in missions to make a difference.

Main Responsibilities

As a unit administrator, you will have a central and trust-based role with close collaboration with the unit manager and management. You will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the unit's administrative and organizational work, as well as contributing to effective governance and follow-up of operations.

Your tasks will include:

  • Providing administrative and organizational support to the unit manager and management
  • Coordinating, planning, and following up on internal processes and workflows
  • Preparing, documenting, and ensuring the quality of the unit's case and decision management
  • Supporting the daily governance of the operations through follow-up and structure

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in administration or equivalent experience deemed relevant by the employer
  • Experience in qualified administrative work
  • Excellent ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
  • Driver's license B (manual transmission)

Personal Qualities

You are responsible, proactive, analytical, and have good collaboration skills as well as the ability to work independently. You easily build and maintain good relationships, where trust and confidence are central. You have good structure in your work and the ability to switch between multiple tasks during a workday. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Other

Employment type: permanent, the Armed Forces applies a 6-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority.
