We are looking for an Accounting Assistant who wants to develop and contribute to Axfood's continued success.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a summer intern in finance, you will support the business with ongoing financial administration. The role is broad with a focus on accounts payable and gives you the opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge in practice in a dynamic and changing environment.

This is a perfect summer job for those studying finance and wanting to build relevant work experience with a well-known and attractive employer. For the right person, there is also the possibility of continued work if needed after the summer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of Accounting Assistant involves a wide range of tasks within financial administration, from ongoing bookkeeping to supporting the closing processes. You are an important part of the team that ensures our financial processes run smoothly and efficiently.

  • Posting supplier invoices
  • Invoice scanning and rebookings
  • Managing accounts payable
  • Handling control and payment files
  • Troubleshooting system-related discrepancies

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Is studying finance at least at the YH level or has another main occupation of at least 50%.
  • Has an interest in accounting and financial administration
  • Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Knowledge of analytical tools, such as Power BI
  • Good skills in Excel

To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities:

  • Socially confident and cooperative
