The demand for Spobik's high-quality products from well-known brands remains strong, and the group is growing and gaining market share both online and in-store. As this places demands on an efficient, competent, and well-functioning administration, Spobik is expanding its finance department with an experienced accountant who has structure and an analytical mindset.
About the job
As an accountant at Spobik, you will be part of a finance function in constant change, where ongoing bookkeeping is mixed with business development projects, problem-solving, and support for both team colleagues and other functions in the organization.
Your main tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Monthly closing, including I/C reconciliations
· Responsibility for accounting in sister companies and/or subsidiaries in Sweden and Denmark (ongoing bookkeeping, receipt management, monthly closing, VAT reporting)
· Accounts receivable – responsible for improved routines for reminders and collections
· Analyze and follow up on results and propose actions
· Participate in and initiate business development projects and actions, as well as the development of processes and routines
· Monthly reporting upwards in the organization.
· Other tasks that may arise in a finance department
.. but as the group is in constant growth, your existing tasks will evolve and new ones will be added. In the finance team, there are 5 people, and the culture is characterized by collaboration, lack of prestige, and responsibility, which is a culture we hope you will appreciate and contribute to.
You who are applying for the position have a post-secondary education in accounting, controlling, or another relevant field. We also believe that you have a couple of years of experience working both independently and in teams with accounting and result analysis in a growing organization. You are well-versed in the rules, laws, and regulations in the area, and with curiosity, you keep yourself updated on new information and knowledge. In your role, you will have multiple points of contact both internally and externally, which requires social skills and a high sense of service.
If you have expertise in or experience with international VAT, inventory management, or customs, this is an advantage, as well as having worked in organizations that analyze and follow up on results. We work in several different systems but also deeply in Excel, which requires IT proficiency and good knowledge of the Office package. Proficiency in both English and Swedish is a requirement for the position.
Spobik offers you a varied and developing position in a group that is growing and wants to be at the forefront when it comes to products and brands in cycling and hockey. Your placement will be in our modern office in Hedenstorp, Jönköping, where our central warehouse is located, and visits to subsidiaries may occur.
