Lomma Municipality has 8 primary schools, and this position is placed at three different schools in the central area of Lomma, close to each other.

The position offers a varied and developing assignment with several target groups, clear leadership within each activity, and good opportunities for collaboration and professional support.

The position is a combined study and career guidance role with assignments in both primary school and adult education, distributed as follows:

  • 55 % Karstorpskolan – study and career guidance in primary school in close collaboration with student health and educators. The assignment is led by the principal at Karstorpskolan. The role also includes collaboration with the municipality's other study and career counselors through a joint network and collegial exchange.
  • 5 % Linnéaskolan – study and career guidance within adapted primary school. The assignment is led by the principal for adapted primary school. Linnéaskolan is located directly adjacent to Karstorpskolan, allowing for close collaboration in daily work.
  • 40 % Lärcentrum – adult education including SFI and municipal activity responsibility. In this assignment, you will be led by the principal for SFI and work closely with an experienced study and career counselor colleague. Lärcentrum is organizationally placed at Vinstorpskolan, where you will be on-site two days a week. The rest of the working time is based at Karstorpskolan.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work with:

  • Individual guidance conversations (physically and digitally)
  • Mapping before studies within primary school and Komvux
  • Planning of high school graduation
  • Information about educational opportunities
  • Administrative work related to admissions and guidance
  • Email and phone support
  • Collaboration with internal and external actors

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a degree as a study and career counselor
  • Is independent, meticulous, and structured
  • Takes initiative
  • Has good communication skills and relationship-building competence
