Job Responsibilities

We at Neptuniskolan are looking for a teacher in textile crafts for grades 7-9!

In the role of a primary school teacher at Neptuniskolan, you will be responsible for planning and implementing teaching as well as assessing students' acquired knowledge. You will evaluate and develop the pedagogical work based on the school's governing documents and the needs and interests of the students, both individually and in collaboration with the work team. You will conduct modern and creative teaching and find strategies to reach each student and support them in both knowledge development and personal growth. In this role, you will collaborate with other school staff to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff and actively participate in the school's development work. Mentorship is included in the role.

Qualifications

You who are applying are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach grades 7-9 in the subject of textile crafts and preferably another subject as well. If you have previous experience working as a teacher and also as a class mentor, we consider this an advantage. You have an investigative approach to your practice and the ability to develop your teaching based on evidence-based research. You are familiar with and have good experience with digital tools and apply these in your teaching. Furthermore, you find it easy to create good and trustworthy relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. We place great emphasis on mentorship.

Additionally, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create a conducive learning environment for our students throughout their school day.

Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work and with good knowledge and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. Of course, you have a professional attitude and work towards good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.
