Job Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a preschool teacher with experience from preschool class at Västra School!

As a preschool teacher, you will work with the learning and development of younger children until they start first grade. You will plan, teach, and assess. You will work strategically for each student's knowledge development and personal growth to prepare them for continued education.

You will also have parent contacts and be responsible for pedagogical documentation, and you will work in the after-school program a few days a week. You will be part of a team consisting of preschool teachers, after-school teachers, and student assistants. You will evaluate the pedagogical activities in the preschool class based on the Education Act and other governing documents.

Qualifications

You who are applying are a licensed preschool teacher, or alternatively a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach in preschool class. You have experience working as a preschool teacher in preschool class. You have good didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create a good learning environment for the students in our preschool class.

Based on scientific principles and proven experience, you will help develop the operations. At the same time, you have good habits and therefore work effectively and with a good knowledge of relevant digital tools. Of course, you have a professional approach and work towards good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.

To fit as a preschool teacher with us, it is important that you are a clear leader with the ability to see all students. You need to have an inclusive approach and the ability to adapt to all students.
