About the position

As a teacher in textile crafts and art, you will teach students in grades 3-7 and play an important role in their creative and personal development.

Your responsibilities include planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of teaching, as well as other tasks that are part of the teaching role.

You will use Schoolsoft for documentation and communication with students and guardians and be an active part of the school's pedagogical development work.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a certified teacher with qualifications to teach crafts and art. You have a good understanding of the school's governing documents and enjoy participating in collegial learning and development processes. You are confident in your professional role and have good IT skills.

As a person, you are committed, attentive, and see each student's unique circumstances. You are passionate about students' learning and development and combine structure with creativity and innovation. You find it easy to collaborate, build good relationships, and contribute to a positive work environment.

About us

The Department of Children and Education is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. We work together for a learning environment where children, students, and employees succeed and can be their best. The department's mission is to coordinate, plan, and support the various operations and work for coordination between school and working life.

Västerskolan is a K-9 school, and the school management consists of a principal and assistant principals.

The operations are characterized by continuous and purposeful work with the values that apply to the Swedish school system.
