Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for three individuals who are qualified teachers for leisure-time centers at Djupadalsskolan, preferably with qualifications in additional subjects. You will belong to one of our teams in the lower grades. In the team, you will collectively be responsible for the students' education and development. During the school day, you will collaborate with the school to create the best conditions for students' learning. At the leisure-time center, you will conduct varied and creative teaching based on our governing documents and the students' interests. You challenge students to take their own initiatives, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others. You are skilled at building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Together, we work to create the best conditions for each student in a safe and trusting environment.

Qualifications

You are a licensed teacher for leisure-time centers, and experience and qualifications to teach in one or more subjects are advantageous. You have a good understanding of the school's governing documents and can effectively use them in your work, both during the school day and at the leisure-time center. Furthermore, you possess good didactic and pedagogical skills, enabling you to lead and organize your work to create a conducive learning environment for our students throughout their day.

You collaborate well with colleagues, learning together and developing the operations based on relevant research. We are looking for someone who is creative, spreads joy, and has a big heart.

About the Workplace

Djupadalsskolan is a F-6 school with approximately 580 students. The school has recently been rebuilt and renovated with functional facilities and is located in a fantastic environment. Our goal is to be the best school for every student by finding strategies to reach each student and support them in both knowledge and personal development. Djupadalsskolan is a school with determined and motivated students, driven and knowledgeable staff, which is reflected in the good results achieved by the students. At Djupadalsskolan, grades F-3 work in age-homogeneous teams of three to four classes per grade, while grades 4-6 operate similarly but have a mixed-age leisure-time center. The teams consist of primary school teachers, leisure-time center teachers, and support staff.
