About the Position

We are looking for you who can step in as a substitute in schools and after-school care as needed in the operations.

You may be contacted in the morning when the need arises, but sometimes it involves covering planned absences among staff. This can mean single hours or full days, sometimes several consecutive days to replace regular employees. As a substitute, your tasks may vary, but your responsibilities include supporting the operations in various ways. This may involve teaching in schools and after-school care or being a student resource in classes and outside during breaks with the students. You are a flexible and adaptable person who has preferably had similar assignments before. You have a good ability to lead a student group and to follow an existing plan. You are an open and outgoing person who quickly blends into the good community that exists at the workplace.

We are looking for someone who is a responsible person with an interest in the development and learning of children and young people. You easily adapt to new working methods and routines and have a value base and approach that assumes that all children can succeed. You are a clear leader, have good collaboration skills, are flexible, and responsible.

It is an advantage if you are studying or have studied an educational program or have experience in educational work, but we will also look for other qualifications.

It is a requirement that you are swim competent, as you may need to accompany our students in the swimming pool. It is an advantage if you can perform lifesaving and/or CPR.

About the Employment

As a part-time substitute, you will be contacted by the school administrator in the event of regular staff absence. This may involve calls/SMS in the morning for work the same day, but also planned substitute opportunities.

When you apply for a job with us, we will ask you to show a certificate from the Police's Criminal Record. The extract we request is "School or preschool" and you need to request this extract yourself, which you can find on the police's website: Police's website (https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/?mtm_campaign=utdrag&mtm_kwd=post0623).

Once you have received your extract, you will then present it to the recruiting manager. Please note that the normal processing time with the police is about two weeks, so please order the extract when you apply for the position. Principal Area Annelund/Olympia

The Principal Area Annelund/Olympia consists of two F-6 schools with a total of just over 500 students. The schools are located close to each other and have a common organization where employees can work at both units.
