Östra Göinge Municipality is looking for a vocational teacher in industrial technology subjects

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

With your welding background, you will be part of and closely collaborate with a team that currently consists of teachers who teach in the following programs: CNC, Sheet Metal and Welding, and Stone Education.

The position involves teaching both youth and adults. You and your colleagues will plan and develop the Industrial Education according to the Swedish National Agency for Education's framework, where you will also be part of the teaching.

At the school, teamwork and the individual are equally important. You will find great enthusiasm and camaraderie among teachers and students.

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer that you are a qualified vocational teacher in industrial technology subjects, with prioritized competencies in Welding (Gas, MMA, MIG/MAG, TIG).

Knowledge in CNC, CAD/CAM (Fusion 360), and possession of a forklift license are also meritorious.

You have experience working in the industry and have a large network. You want to work in a flexible and varied environment; innovation and creativity are important to you. You feel a strong commitment to education and school development and act as a good ambassador for the school and its programs. You have good knowledge of educational regulations and the current curriculum.

We also prefer that you have experience working with visual support and a language development approach. Experience working with different educational levels is also seen as an advantage, as our organization reflects the diversity of society.
