Your role

You will teach a class consisting of students from grades 5 and 6, sharing the responsibility for their education with a colleague. In the subjects of mathematics and English, you will teach the grades separately, while other subjects are mixed-age.

You are responsible for:

• Planning, teaching, and evaluation.
• Documentation and communication via Schoolsoft.
• Creating a safe and inspiring learning environment where all students can develop from their own level.

Who are you?

We are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach grades 4-6 in Swedish, mathematics, and science, but there may be some opportunities to adapt subjects according to your qualifications. Experience in teaching is an advantage.

About us

The Department of Children and Education is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. We work together for a learning environment where children, students, and employees succeed and become their best. The department's mission is to coordinate, plan, and support the various operations and work for coordination between school and working life.

Röke school is part of a larger principal area together with the schools in Finja, Röke, Tyringe, and Västra Torup, with associated after-school care. This provides good opportunities for collaboration and development in exciting assignments. In the area, we will work during the school year 2025-2026 with three focus areas: student participation, students' linguistic ability, and safety and study peace.

Röke school is a village school and has a fantastic location close to nature, which is a great asset for students' development and learning. We are a K-6 school with about 80 students and two after-school care facilities. Hörja after-school care is one of the two after-school facilities for students at Röke school. The after-school care is located in the village of Hörja, about 6 km from Röke.
