About the Workplace

The schools of Helsingborg City are a resourceful and value-driven organization. Here, you as an employee become an important part of our shared vision to create the best school for every child and student.

Allerums School is a F-6 school located on the outskirts of Helsingborg. We have about 196 students at the school, and we work with a co-teaching system, which means there are two teachers in each class who plan, implement, and evaluate the work. Building relationships is very important to us, and all teachers work closely with their students at all times. We have three teams: F-3, 4-6, and after-school care. Each team has a team leader who is part of the management group with the principal and administrative manager. Through trust-based leadership, educators are led with a lot of responsibility and trust to carry out their work. Development work such as differentiated instruction, reading in all subjects, and cooperative learning has been implemented at the school. Two lead teachers guide the development work at the school together with the principal. The school's vision of learning together, as well as the keywords knowledge, safety, and well-being, permeate every day at school.

Job Responsibilities

You will be a mentor for one of the classes in grades 4-6. Since the organization has not yet been decided for next year, it may be in one of these grades along with another teacher who has math/science competence. It is an advantage if you also have English in your qualification. Together with the other teacher, you will plan, implement, and evaluate your work. You will have close contact with the students' guardians and conduct development discussions. It is beneficial if you have experience in grading and conducting national tests in grade 6. You will participate in team meetings, staff meetings, development work, and operational meetings. You will take your own initiatives to improve your teaching and dare to try new ideas and thoughts.

What We Offer

We offer you a varied, responsible, and stimulating job with opportunities for personal development. The workplace is smoke-free and health-conscious. As an employee, you will receive a wellness allowance of 3000 SEK per year.

Qualifications

You are a qualified teacher in Swedish/Social Studies with a teaching license, preferably with experience. It is an advantage if you are also qualified in English. You need to be positive about working together in a co-teaching system in the classroom where you plan together and meet each student at their level. Experience in grading and conducting national tests is an advantage. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
