Teacher for the Construction Program – Painter Specialization 50%

We are looking for an engaged and knowledgeable teacher for the Construction and Civil Engineering program with a focus on painting at 50%, with good opportunities for an extended position. As a teacher with us, you will play an important role in educating the future masons.

You will teach students both theory and practice in the masonry profession and work closely with other teachers in the construction program. Therefore, we would like you to have broad construction competence and be prepared to support in the workshop if needed, and be flexible, cooperative, and enjoy working in a team.

As a teacher, you will act in a way that makes you a role model for the participants, sharing your professional knowledge both theoretically and practically.

Movant AB works with practical vocational training for adults, skills development, and labor market assignments. On behalf of several municipalities, we conduct practical vocational training for adults.

Formal Competence:

We are looking for someone with pedagogical experience who is currently working or has worked as a painter and holds a vocational certificate. You enjoy working in groups, and it is important that you have the ability and willingness to develop people by sharing your professional skills. We would like you to have experience in teaching or leading work and have good knowledge in the specialization, both theoretically and practically. The job also includes securing APL placements for students and following up with our partner companies.

A teaching degree is desirable, and teaching experience/vocational certification is an advantage.

Your personality is characterized by good collaboration skills and flexibility. You have the ability to create good relationships with everyone you meet in your work. As an educator, you instill a strong belief in the participants' abilities to achieve both individual and collective goals. You promote a learning and innovative climate and are careful to provide participants with feedback on their results. Quality is an important guiding principle for you.

A driver's license (B) is required.
