Job Responsibilities

Welcome to Fridhem School!

In your role as a primary school teacher for after-school care, you will conduct modern and creative teaching for our students and find strategies to reach each student and support them in both knowledge development and personal growth. Your responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational work based on the school's governing documents and the needs and interests of the students, both individually and in collaboration with your team. You will cooperate with other school staff to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff and participate in the school's development work.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed teacher in after-school care. Previous experience in the profession is an advantage. You have a good understanding and knowledge of the school's governing documents and apply these in your daily work. Furthermore, you possess strong didactic and pedagogical skills that enable you to independently lead and organize your work to create a conducive learning environment for our students throughout the day. Your teaching is modern, and based on evidence-based research, you develop your work while effectively using relevant digital tools. It is essential that you are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Additionally, the job requires you to have good collaboration skills, be proactive, and adapt your approach based on the situation. You have a strong interest in developing the educational activities to be fun, inspiring, and challenging. You have the ability to build good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. We expect you to view each student from a holistic perspective and approach the role with a positive attitude towards students.

Fridhem School is located in beautiful surroundings where greenery meets the sea. The school has approximately 430 students from preschool to grade 6.
