Job Responsibilities

In the role of teacher in mathematics and science with us, you will have a clear focus on students' learning and development towards the goals. Your teaching is modern, creative, and structured according to the curriculum and the goals of the organization. You plan, implement, and follow up on your work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues in subject and work teams.

• Teaching: You are responsible for teaching mathematics and science subjects, where you create a conducive learning environment and desire to learn through clear expectations and varied pedagogy.
• Mentorship: You are a mentor for a class together with a colleague. This includes building trusting relationships with students and guardians, as well as supporting students' social development.
• Varied work: You use a broad repertoire of techniques and methods in students' learning.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a confident educational leader with a genuine interest in the development of young people. You have the ability to adapt your teaching based on each student's individual circumstances and are accustomed to documenting and analyzing students' knowledge development.

Requirements for the position:

• Certification and eligibility: You are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach mathematics and science for the later grades of primary school, grades 7-9.
• Language skills: You have a very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Mentorship: You feel confident and comfortable in the role of mentor and see it as a central part of your mission.

Desirable:

• Qualification in chemistry grades 7-9
• Qualification in technology grades 7-9
• Previous experience teaching in grades 7–9 of primary school.
• Experience working with digital teaching materials.

As a person, you are flexible, engaged, and have good collaboration skills. You are solution-focused and can act as a good role model for both students and colleagues.
