The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, primary school, after-school care, high school, adult education, as well as child and student health. Here, about 1100 employees work together to create a safe and developing school and childcare.

Västerport School is a K-9 school with approximately 620 students and 75 employees. At Västerport School, students are met with modern, meaningful, and accessible teaching where the vision "Every day we create meaning" permeates the organization. The vision branches into two different focus areas; relational teacher leadership and language development, which influence the development work. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a special education teacher at Västerport School, you will play a central role in strengthening students' learning and creating accessible and developing learning environments. Your main tasks will involve conducting assessments and planning interventions for students in need of special support, both individually and in groups. You will work both preventively and remedially and contribute with special educational expertise that complements the regular teaching assignment.

Västerport School uses digital tools in daily work, which requires good IT skills and experience in using digital tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

As Västerport School expands its staff with additional special education teachers, we are looking for you who are a certified teacher, have special education training, and previous experience in special educational work. If you have a focus on language, writing, and reading development, it is particularly meritorious.
